The Boat House Hotel - Boca Chica (Santo Domingo)

The homemade ice cream from the restaurant is awesome-utter bliss! I loved the wide breakfast selection, made mornings enjoyable and the cozy seating with power outlets where I could chill while enjoying the view of the beach.

the location was wonderful and fantastic yet it was right by downtown area, just 5 minutes by foot. the staff was affable in all services. my room was tidy, with pay television, a safe and a fridge.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, really close to Dominican Republic and the nightlife and restaurant. Also, I reached Cactus Petes Casino, located approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the property🙂

I recommend asking for a room not facing the busy nightclub to ensure a quieter stay.

great location , but noise issues

The staff at the restaurant were charming and attentive. I appreciated the spaciousness of the bathroom. The small fridge in my room was a nice touch, keeping my drinks cool throughout my visit. The sea view from my room added to the enjoyment, allowing me to wake up to amazing sunrises every morning.

The noise from the nightclub next door made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The Boat House in Boca Chica had some highlights. The fantastic beachy location really struck me as I landed straight from the airport. I was able to unwind on the beach and enjoy a great meal right at the hotel. I appreciated the wide breakfast selection. The food was well prepared and offered a lot of variety. The small, personable vibe of the hotel. I had a comfortable room with a beautiful sea view that allowed me to wake up to lovely sunrises. There were some downsides. Music from the neighboring nightclub blasted late into the night. On top of that, one night, some individuals came in just to watch a rugby match and turned up the restaurant's music system to a disruptive volume. This was frustrating, especially when I was trying to enjoy a quieter ambiance.

The outdated facilities detract from the experience!!! Upgrading the rooms to match modern standards would really make a difference!!! Consider soundproofing options to mitigate the disruptive club noise from across the street!!!

Competing music from nearby venues was a distraction, but the breakfast was excellent and the view fine.

The breakfast was delicious, and the views from my room were amazing. This quick stay definitely was great with friendly staff and a cozy vibe.

but there was loud music from next door disrupting our stay. the breakfast had a wide selection and was well prepared. the staff were excellent, making us feel very welcome! the restaurant offered a beautiful beach view that we enjoyed every morning.

The One-Bedroom Apartment was nice and spacious, which I really appreciated. The small fridge worked well, and the bathroom had plenty of space. But the noise from the nightclub across the street was really disruptive. I barely slept. It's a shame because the room itself was comfy otherwise.

We loved the spacious one-bedroom apartment, perfect for our family! The beach access was fantastic, allowing the kids to play in the sand while we enjoyed the fine sea view from our balcony. The dining options were also great and very family-friendly.

In my wife's opinion, noise from the nightclub made it tough for kids to sleep.
